The basic premise of this challenge is to write 15 stories or a 15 chapter story centering around a family of your choosing. The families do not need to be a traditional family, but they do need to be biologically related somehow, and the stories can be either fanfiction, real person, or original stories.
Check the claim list and claim your family here, only one person is allowed to have a claim at once but they can have someone elses family combined with another, check the FAQ list near the bottom of the profile where I go further into this point. You can also drop your claim there.
You should use a form like this to introduce your story outside of the lj-cut/link, but you do not have to use this exact form, you can add or take away whatever you wish too and you can put the information in whatever order you choose: Title: Fandom: Characters: Prompt: Word Count: Rating: Warnings/Spoilers: Summary:
When your claim is complete please post a comment here.
Do not post in the community at all until your claim is accepted. All members may claim up to two families, for fanfiction/RPS the two families must be from two different fandoms.
Stories should be a minimum of 100 words each, they can be as long as you wish after 100. All ratings are welcome. When posting here all stories should be under an lj-cut or be linked back to where it is posted in another journal.
This is a place for you to post stories that were written for this challenge. Non-story, stories not written for this challenge, and spam posts are not allowed. I will delete the post.

Here's the code if you want a table:
Q: Is there a deadline for how much time can be between posts or how much time we can take to finish the total challenge? A: No. I am in a lot of writing challenges myself and understand how hard it is to get them out in some sort of deadline. Please, take all the time you need.
Q: What is a 'traditional family'? What types of families can we use outside of a traditional family? A: A traditional family is a family with a mother, a father, and their children. You can use gay/lesbian couples and their children as families or a family and their adoptive/foster children. If they are, by law, considered a family they're a family here. You CANNOT use a group of friends as a family.
Q: Are original characters allowed in fanfiction? Yes. All I ask is that you explain in at least one story/intro how they came into the family to relieve confusion.
Q: Is incest allowed? A: Yes. If you do write incest in your story ALWAYS put a warning in the intro because there are some people who would rather not read that.
Q: Why is Weddings and Funerals and Family reunion one prompt? A: Because, sadly, sometimes those are the only times some larger, seperated families see each other.
Q: There's two prompts up there with two ideas to it. Which one do I do? A: They're interchangeable. Choose whatever one you want.
Q: Can I use a story I wrote before for this challenge? A: I'd rather you not. This is only 15 stories and it should be fairly easy to write brand new stories.
Q: What if there's two families who are connected through marriage with two different last names? Someone has a family I want combined with a family I don't want, what do I do? A: You can claim both families. I'll you Full House as an example. The Tanners and the Katsopolises are two separate, but related families. If someone claims Tanner/Katsopolise, someone else could claim the Tanners and another person could claim the Katsopolises.
Q: Can I claim families that will soon be connected by marriage but aren't yet? If the majority of your stories have them being connected, then yes.
Q: What if there's a member of a family, like a half sibling, who has a different last name than the rest of the family but no living members of the family with his/her last name, will I have to claim both families for that one person? A: No. I really don't see the point in having to claim two families just to write about one person. Just claim the larger family and use the other character however you wish, if you wanna be cool you can even tell me what's going on so I don't get all dazed and confused. If you wanted to claim the one person family and still do the other family that has multiple members that's a no-no.
Q: Can I claim two families that aren't related but live together as friends? A: No. All families must be an actual family. See the second question.
Q: How many families can I claim at once? A: This is stated up in the general rules. Two. But the two families have to be from two different fandoms. If you really want to do two families from the same fandom, write 15 stories then claim the other one when you're finished. I just don't want anyone person to take up an entire fandom and I don't want anyone person to have too many claims at once.
